Planning to leave my family farm for university evoked feelings of excitement and wonder, and also huge anxiety about the unknown. The same feelings arose as I navigated college choices in Canada, the UK, and the USA when applying to undertake my Masters degree. I sought all the guidance I could. I called my professors. I completed interviews. I sourced scholarships and grants. I wrote personal essays galore. Eventually, I found the perfect institution for my graduate studies, but the process took its toll in the inordinate amount of time spent and excessive stress for my family and for me. 

Good news! This process does not have to be so stressful! I bring a sense of fun to the college discernment and application process. I love working with students supporting their self-discovery and developing their self-efficacy. As a Consultant for American College Consulting, I serve families applying to colleges in the USA, Canada, and the UK.  My processes pinpoint which colleges will best serve each student's unique profile and empower students to have the confidence and skillset necessary for college success. In my role, I help students discover who they are and where they want to go. Together, we articulate a clear path forward.
